I have been at the hospital and here for counseling services. The decline in the services provided here are unreal. I had a councilor who was to busy talking on the phone to her children/school to be concerned with my care. I did learn a lot about where her kids went to school and the issues she was having with Scout, her son.
I'm still mad at this hospital. I was going to have my oldest there and they decided that a maternity ward just wasn't something the city of massillon needed (there are 0 within the city because of them because they closed theirs and doctors hospital as well) and when I was pregnant with my second I started bleeding and they made it 100% clear I was NOT welcome there even though it is the within walking distance from my house. I wouldn't go there in a real emergency.
I took my dad there for services in couceling with a social worker and she (Katie) wouldn't listen to what we were saying. I'm not one for complaining, but we are the consumer and deserve respect.she was running behind and was in a hurry to keep her schedule. We really didn't get the time we deserved or needed. I'm not sure what's happening to our healthcare system, but it starts and ends with the staff you hire. You may want to take a hard look at those employees and if you really want them representing your name.
Poor billing system. I shouldn't be doing everyone's job by calling all of these agencies because there is no staff to do the job.
I went here 2 weeks ago to get tests done for out patient surgery. Everyone was nice and very helpful! Today I had my surgery and again the staff was very nice and helpful! I'm glad I came here even with people's bad reviews I just didn't see the issues here! Thank Affinity for a good stay, even though I had to be there for surgery!
