Had to go in and file a report. Everyone I had contact with was helpful and not rude at all.
My daughter was now very upset from the idea of what could have been, but the Kind Words and Gentle voices to her of Officer Cecil and Officer Watson was all she needed. I called AAA, and they put us on top priority. The wonderful officers made sure that my grandson was ok, because he was scared that something bad had happened to us. But these Wonderful men helped calm everyone down, and they said they would not leave us into we were taken care of by AAA. AAA showed up in less than 20 minutes, and these fine Officers made sure that we had called our insurance company, and we had taken pictures. When AAA told us they had repaired the Truck, at least well enough to get us home, Both Officer Cecil and Officer Watson told us they would keep traffic away from us until we were safely back on the road. Their kindness, their calm demeanor, their attitude were so comforting, I cannot say enough. I know this is just their job, but to us, they went above and beyond to make us feel safe . Thank you so much to two of America's Finest-Officer Cecil ( who is retiring soon) and Office Watson. May God Bless you both, and keep you safe as you just do your job! Thank you, again, so much.
Can't think of a thing I would want differently from a police department.
Around Noon today, Feb. 26, 2017 on hwy 30 just past Whipple exit, my daughter, my grandson, my son - in - law's mother, and I were involved in a very scary incident. We were on the road back from a horse training session with a horse trailer in tow. My daughter was driving a GMC 3500 duelly with a 3 horse trailer attached by goose neck. We were going at least 65. My daughter was passing a car when the left front tire blew . The Angels were with us. My daughter was able to keep the truck from fish tailing with the trailer. Once we were able to stop the trunk and trailer, she had gotten us on the median safely.
I had a meeting with my boss I asked one of perry's not so finest if I could slip by an accident that was near my office/ I would. not have interfered with the accident in anyway/ this old gray haired cop pointed to a parking spot at a business 2 blocks away and in a nasty tone said park there and walk/ to waste tax payers money perry had cops sitting on Lincoln way checking to see if the license plate light on cars were working...makes me glad I moved out of perry
Very professional, we have a small business in this township and am very happy with the way they patrol our business and are extremely competent when a crime does happen.
The Perry Twp Police Dept.Harassed,And Wanted To Arrest Mark Stein, While standing on his Body Shop property of 33yrs without a reason!!! Also ran him off his property and told him,That if he ever came back they were arresting him and taking him to jail !!! When his 2 lawyers went to talk to the chief, the chief replied that of the7 or so times they went to his property to harass him and make him leave his property,the chief said he had no reports of such action.??The chief and his henchman are liars and very very corrupt.The chief and henchman are very dangerous.They make the law and the prosecutors and judges back them up.Bad Bad Twp. Waikem is a big dog and the chief does whatever Waikem wants done??Go figure,How is that possible??? Seems to me that Waikem runs the chief....Think about it people..

After we knew no one was injured and the horse was not injured, we thanked Jesus . My daughter and I looked at the damage, and saw it was much worse than we thought. Traffic was flying by, and we were stuck. Just then, two police cars pulled up behind us in a staggered position. A police officer jumped out of each car, and ran toward us. The first words out of their mouths were are you injured? Is your horse injured? What can we do to help? They put cones out, and slowed down the traffic.
