I had to ask meat department for chicken breast. I wanted peppermint extract but the shelf was empty. It was still empty about 90 minutes later.
Always clean & neat in appearance. Staff is friendly & helpful. Almost always have what I'm looking for.
This Giant Eagle is one that still has a hometown feeling to it. First we showed up close to the deli closing time. But Chris was very polite, very helpful and didnt mind slicing some meats up for us. Then on the way out we had a very nice checkout cashier named Joe. Nice Giant Eagle to have in the neighborhood.
Called to make sure they had what I needed before getting a ride their, well we get their and was told via phone they had plenty but got their and they didn't even have any not one! Or a generic! Why call? They don't care obviously. But other than that incident never any issues other than self check out don't go unless you have your giant eagle card or you'll be rang up again elsewhere not their fault just a heads up
They have GREAT PRODUCE! ALWAYS FRESH AND RIPE ETC AS WELL AS THE DELI THEY HAVE PRE CUT MEATS BUT THEIR DELI AND BUTCHER IS AWESOME LIKE THE PRODUCE BUT PRICEY UNLESS YOU HAVE COUPONS OR SALES ETC
Giant Eagle is a great supermarket. It's always clean, well stocked with necessities. They tend to carry more of their own brands and less variety of national brands, but for the most part their branding is high quality. They are in the middle to high middle pricewise, except for their deli which I consider high. Really nice salad bar for quick meals.
